Farewell 2020 - Welcome 2021
Never before do I remember being thankful that one year has ended, and the next has arrived. I think it is fair to say that I am not the only one with this opinion. 2020 has proven for me, as for many, just what ‘really’ is important. And, I think it’s safe to say, it is not something that requires batteries, or can be found on social media.. I have discovered that I miss more deeply, love more fully and see more clearly. And, just like Forrest Gump said so eloquently, “That’s all I have to say about that.”

Grandpa’s Coin Purse
My mother gifted my grandfather’s coin purse to me years ago. I was rearranging things after Hurricane Harvey, and found the coin purse that had by now been packed away way too long. It was then I decided I could mount it in a shadowbox and see it more than just occasionally.

The Next Step
This time in my life has revealed more than I ever hoped for or dreamed of.
The hours I sit at my workbench and stand at my soldering station, have been time well spent.

THE ODD BALL
I was the second child born in a family of three girls (+ one boy who came along 10 years after my younger sister). What they say about the middle child is true. I was the one who was different.
