Prong-Set Crystal Quartz Ring
The Prong-Set Crystal Quartz Ring includes several favorite techniques, beginning with my ‘lifted & layered’ technique, which adds depth and dimension to the ring’s overall appearance. I have used 2 layers of sterling silver, one used to set the prongs that hold the crystal quartz focal, which consists of a 25x15mm faceted free-form Crystal Quartz cab, at it’s widest point. I handpicked a small group of these beautiful cabs, from a favorite vendor at the Pueblo Gem Show in Tucson, during the Gem & Jewelry Show, in 2018.
This ring has a hand-stamped low dome band which measures a size 11. Please note that this is what might be considered a wide band, as it measures approximately 6mm.
