Cross My Heart Turquoise Ring
About 3 year ago, I found the most gorgeous group of Hubei turquoise crosses at a show during the Tucson Gem Show. I had searched high & low for days, dragging my 'friends' along with me.
This type of irregular focal lends itself so beautifully to prong setting, a great technique that required in this case, precisely set prongs. I made this ring in a class I taught, called Cross My Heart.
I’ve set sterling silver vining along with a single raindrop, at the top. The focal measures just shy of 1-1/4”L by just over 1” W.
This ring has a double-half round band that measures approximately 6mm. Please note that this is what might be considered a wide band. This Cross My Heart ring measures a size 6-1/4”.
